A lot of cops believe that it is OK to accept small gratuities such as free coffee, half-price meals and discounts on merchandize. But one Secret Service agent has taken the gratuity thing just a bit too far.
This agent was part of a Secret Service contingent that was sent to Cartagena, Columbia in advance of the president’s arrival there for a summit involving 33 countries. Apparently 11 of the agents and 5 members of our military did some off-duty sightseeing in Cartagena and ended up returning to their hotel rooms with some prostitutes. And this is where the gratuity thing kicked in. This one agent got laid but refused to pay the young lady for her services.
Guess what? She went to the authorities and filed a complaint for theft of services. Now those 11 agents have been sent back to the U.S. and they are in deep shit because this incident is being called the biggest scandal in the history of the Secret Service.
What a jerk! I’ve been to Columbia, Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador, Brazil and Argentina, and I can tell you they’ve got some mighty fine looking prostitutes in South America and their prices are very reasonable to boot. Any guy who, after having been serviced, refuses to pay one of those fine looking ladies what little they charge has got to be one real sorry asshole.
As for this incident being the biggest scandal in the history of the Secret Service, I wonder if they are talking about the 11 agents hooking up with prostitutes or if they are talking about one of them stiffing the prostitute he hooked up with?
