NO EXORCISMS ALLOWED FOR OKLAHOMA JAIL PRISONERS

by Bob Walsh

Amanda Lynette Freeman, 32, was as guest of the people at the Oklahoma County Jail last month. Linda Herlong Jackson, 67, was a nurse at the jail. Freeman is now dead and Jackson is no longer welcome at the jail.

It seems that Ms. Jackson decided that Ms. Freeman was possessed by something evil when she was having seizures and Ms. Jackson allegedly tried to "revoke the demons." Ms. Jackson allegedly asked somebody for permission to perform the exorcism but when a Lieutenant showed up he put a stop to it. Ms. Jackson vehemently denies that she performed an exorcism.

Ms. Jackson does not work for the government but rather for a contract health care provider, Armor Correctional Health Services. She is now banned from the jail. It is unclear what her position with her actual employer is at this time other than "administrative leave.".
