Eric Schneiderman was the Attorney General of New York State until a few hours ago. He resigned under significant pressure after four women, two of whom went on the record with their names, accused him of some rather nasty sexual misconduct, including physical abuse.
The hypocritical asshole is/was a huge proponent of the #METOO movement and was instrumental in causing legal grief (well deserved legal grief) to that even better-known sleaze Harvey Weinstein.
Scheniderman did not totally deny the allegations, but did admit to consensual sexual role playing. The women claim it was no such thing. One of the women is from Sri Lanka. She asserts that Schneiderman referred to her has his "brown slave" and wanted her to call him "master." That alone is enough to ensure his political demise.
Schneiderman was running for re-election. He probably won't now. Too bad, so sad.
With any sort of luck he will be criminally charged, convicted, sent to prison and slapped around a bit by his new "friend" in prison. Probably not, but it would be karmic justice.
