During his run for the presidency Donald Trump promised that if elected he would scrap the Iran nuclear deal

On Wednesday, Trump announced the U.S. was withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal. That’s what he promised to do during the 2016 presidential campaign. Promise made, promise kept. Good for Trump.

Obama and John Kerry each immediately issued a statement strongly condemning Trump’s move. That, of course, could be expected since both of those fools worked hard to negotiate the deal. And most recently Kerry has been undercutting Trump by engaging in shadow diplomacy with Iran’s president and European leaders in an effort to keep the U.S. from withdrawing from the deal

John Brennan, Obama’s CIA chief and now unofficial Hillary Clinton mouthpiece, called Trump’s move “madness” and “a danger to our national security.”

The leaders of Britain, France and Germany issued a joint statement bewailing Trump’s move and pledged they would continue to adhere to the nuclear deal they and Obama reached with Iran.

The only countries supporting Trump were Israel, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu had lobbied hard for Trump to withdraw from the deal.

Foreign policy experts have been all over the media with their alarming predictions of dire consequences – rising oil prices, mistrust of the U.S.by the North Koreans, and even an outbreak of war.

In this case who should we trust - Obama and Kerry or Trump? The answer is easy – Trump!
