Anthony Junkin was, until recently, a guest of the people at the California State Hospitality Center, Sacramento (commonly known as New Folsom State Prison). He was found dead on the floor of the cell during evening count, at about 11:00 p.m. on Sunday. He was doing 31-life out of Sacramento County.
His cell partner, Wayne Caskey, doing 50-life, also out of Sacramento, is the suspect. Since they were the only two occupants of a locked cell I am fairly confident that he did it.
You don't want to piss off a lifer. They have very little to loose.

Little to lose and everything to gain. I hear the food is better on Death Row, the cells are bigger, and California doesn't off anybody anymore anyway.
