What I saw on TV was far more men than women and children
When on Sunday I watched an ABC correspondent in the midst of the caravan headed toward the US, I saw far more men than women and children.
That leads me to believe those Hondurans, Salvadorans and Guatemalans are not escaping the terror of gangs in their countries, but escaping poverty instead.
Many of those people, now estimated to number 7,000, have turned down offers of asylum by Mexico because they are trying to get to the US where they think the streets are paved with gold.
President Trump has said he will call out the military to stop them from crossing the border. That will fire up his base and have the Democrats screaming bloody murder.

President Trump is coming to Houston tonight. Over 100,000 tickets to attend the rally have been applied for. They are putting on a Tailgate Party before the rally at the Toyota Center.
I hope the weather holds and protesters stay away. Houston ain't a bastion of liberal ideas. Someone may get an attitude adjustment.
Clearly this whole thing is being stage managed. You can NOT move 5,000 people 1,700 miles on an impromptu basis. They need food. They need some place to sleep. They need some place to shit. They are moving women and children as well as young, healthy men so they should be moving about 10 miles per day. They are moving a lot faster than that so clearly they are being moved by vehicles when the cameras are not looking. It is a gimmick, clearly intended to make Donald Trump look like an impotent meanie. I doubt very much that that will be the actual effect, especially with the American voter two weeks from now.
Staged protests, manufactured outrage, and outright deceit are turning the tide for Conservatives. Those driving the Democrap agenda are their own worst enemy.
