Much to the surprise of many in the business, Jussie Smollett has been cut by Fox before the last show of Empire for this season is in the can. Most people figured that he would finish out the season, which needed about 1 1/2 episodes and one work week to finish.
This does not bode well for him professionally for the near-term future. Too bad, so sad.
