After ducking away from the incoming for a couple of weeks PG&E has announced that they will NOT seek permission from the bankruptcy court to shell out $130 million in bonuses to 1,200 employees. They have also announced they are seriously considering splitting the utility in two, though exactly how, where or when this might be done is something that is till being kicked around.
The utility is facing a potential of $30 billion in lawsuits over recent fires that began along their right-of-way or with their equipment.
