Today (April 10 as I pound this out) the E. U. is going to vote on whether or not to give the U.K. even more time to come up with a workable exit plan. The P.M., Theresa May, wants until the end of June. That seems unlikely to happen as the E. U. membership seems to want the matter decided before the E. U. elections on May 23.
It is remarkable to me how a large group of allegedly responsible, seemingly at least averagely bright people can simply back themselves into a corner. It is kind of like ten different small children each threatening to hold their breath until they turn blue and pass out if they don't get their way. Trouble is they each have a different goal, and a different way of getting there, and don't really give a shit about anybody else.
So, who do you think will blink first?

UPDATE; BREXIT BREATHING ROOM
by Bob Walsh
They announced late last night (U. S. time) that the U. K. was going to get until October 31 to get their shit together for a Brexit plan. I confess that is a much longer interval than I thought they would get. The E .U. seemed, up until a day or two ago, absolutely adamant that it wanted them OUT by the E. U. election on May 23.
Maybe they will actually try for a revote. I hope not but you never know. The political ruling class over there is a pack of globalists, just like here. They want badly to keep the U. K. under the operational thumb of the bureaucrats in Belgium.
EDITOR'S NOTE: Bet that when all is said and done, the UK will remain in the EU.
