Sanders, Pocahontas, AOC and other Democrats are quick to come to the defense of anti-Semite Ilhan Omar
After Ilhan Omar gave a speech at the Hamas supporting Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in which she said “Some people did something” about the 9/11 terrorist attacks, President Trump tweeted “WE WILL NEVER FORGET” and accompanied it with a 43 second video that showed Omar's comment during her speech to CAIR, intermixed with footage from the Twin Towers collapsing.
Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth ‘Pocahontas’ Warren and AOC, among a number of other Democrats, quickly came to the defense of anti-Semite Omar by attacking Trump for his tweet.
Sanders said: “Ilhan Omar is a leader with strength and courage. She won't back down to Trump's racism and hate, and neither will we. The disgusting and dangerous attacks against her must end.”
Pocahontas tweeted “The President is inciting violence against a sitting Congresswoman—and an entire group of Americans based on their religion. It's disgusting. It's shameful. And any elected leader who refuses to condemn it shares responsibility for it.”
And, of course as can be expected, AOC attacked Trump for his tweet. She said:
“Members of Congress have a duty to respond to the President's explicit attack today. [Omar's] life is in danger. For our colleagues to be silent is to be complicit in the outright, dangerous targeting of a member of Congress. We must speak out.”
AOC also used a poem about Holocaust victims in her tweet for which she herself was attacked.
Beto O’Rourke said: “This is an incitement to violence against Congresswoman Omar, against our fellow Americans who happen to be Muslim. This is part and parcel of what we've seen from an administration that has described Mexican immigrants as rapists and criminals.”
Kamel Harris said: “For two years, this President has used the most powerful platform in the world to sow hate & division. He’s done it again. Putting the safety of a sitting member of Congress @IlhanMN at risk & vilifying a whole religion is beyond the pale. I’ll be blunt — we must defeat him.”
And Nancy Pelosi piped in from London, demanding that Trump remove the ‘dangerous’ video from his tweet. Pelosi said: “The President's words weigh a ton, and his hateful and inflammatory rhetoric creates real danger. President Trump must take down his disrespectful and dangerous video.”
It’s all in the eye of the beholder. While the Democrats see Trump’s tweet as being hateful to Muslims and posing a danger to Omar, I see nothing wrong in the way he intermixed the video with his tweet. In fact, I think it was very clever. I hope he tells Pelosi to take her demand and stick it up her ass!.
Trump’s tweet outraged the Democrats, but it was spot on. The Democrats are trying their best to disgrace Trump, but what is really disgraceful is an anti-Semitic congresswoman and those Democrats who keep defending her.
Sometimes I say that a person ought to get the shit kicked out of them … Omar is one of those persons.
The Democrats in this case make themselves look awfully stupid. It’s not Trump’s tweet and video that’s inciting violence against Omar and hatred against Muslims. What’s inciting violence and hatred is Omar’s anti-American and anti-Semitic mouth.

There is NOTHING that Trump can say or do that will not make the Democraps angry.
The real tragedy is that Omar could have been a trailblazer for future Somali-Americans. The relationship between the Somali and Jewish community in Minneapolis is tight. This nut has done tremendous damage to not only that relationship but the prospects of other Somali Americans who could otherwise aspire for elected office.
I know people that to this day wake up and get angry because Trump won the election. It has to be unhealthy.
Instead she seems to be a trailblazer like the Somali cop in Minnesota a couple of years back who shot an unarmed woman who was approaching his police car. I think he is undergoing trial right now.
