There was a virtual candidates forum held as few days ago in Stockton by the League of Women Voters.  It got zoom-bombed.
The
screen was bombarded with porn and blatantly racist comments.  It
appears that this was a coordinated attack and at least one person
involved had live eyes-on the situation based on comments that came up
during the broadcast.
Kevin
Lincoln, challenger to incumbent Michael Tubbs, announced that he would
no longer participate in virtual forums and withdrew from an upcoming
forum hosted by the local NAACP chapter.  Mayor Tubbs announced that he
found Lincoln's withdrawl "unacceptable" and that he was "personally
offended" by Lincoln's move.  Tubbs chastised Lincoln because he
"couldn't be bothered" to log into a computer to participate.
The FBI and the local constabulary are actively investigating the incident.
