New York City is getting ready to shell out about $1.6
billion to Black and Hispanic people who took the STATE New York
teachers test and did poorly. Apparently the mere fact that Black and
Hispanic people did poorly (about 50% passing) compared to White and
Asian people (90%) means the test MUST BE RACIST. Therefore the city
(it was not a city test, it was a state test) is going to shell out a
buttload of money to Brown and Black people who didn't get jobs, as
compensation / reparations for jobs they didn't get and medical benefits
they didn't get because they didn't get the jobs.
Federal
Judge Kimba Wood said in her opinion that the fact of the outcome being
not reflective of the general population MUST MEAN that the test is in
and of itself racist.

I was wrong. It is $1.8 billion. My bad.
These folks don't know “come here” from “sic ’em.”
