Leslie Van Houten was 19 years old when she was involved in the string of violent murders with the Manson Family.
Leslie Van Houten right now looks like a sweet grandmother. She is in fact a vicious murderer who personally literally butchered Rosemary LaBianca back in 1969 in Los Angeles. She was sentenced to die in 1971 but then all death penalty cases were overturned by the courts and she ended up doing life. He positive recommendations for parole have been overturned several times by both Jerry Brown and Gavin Newsom.
Charles Manson on his way to court to enter a plea to seven counts of murder and one count of conspiracy in 1971.
The appeals court has now ordered her release on parole. Newsom is not going to oppose it.
