WORLD RECORD HOT DAYS?

The last couple of days the major network national news has asserted that those days were the hottest days on record with a worldwide average of 62.9 Fahrenheit.  This is determined by the University of Maine's " Climate Reanalyzer" which uses satellite data and computer simulations to measure the world wide temperature.  

I confess I would personally put much more stock in this assertion if it were based on actual readings in actual places rather than computer modeling and satellite data.  That does not mean that the info or assertions are BS, but it does mean that if computer models were 100% accurate Hillary Clinton would be President, there would be no polar ice caps and 15% of the U. S. would be under water.  None of those happened.
