Genetic researchers have just announced a strong correlation between the presence of a Neanderthal haplotype gene and persons who really get stomped on by the Covid bug. Just thought you might want to know who to blame.
EDITOR'S NOTE: I did get kicked in the ass by Covid, but my ancestry revealed I descended from Bonobos (below), not Neanderthals.

Looks like two Neanderthals getting it on next to that tree there. Must be a sex education visual aid.
Neither I or any of my siblings ever caught Covid.
