Congressional Representative Michael Cloud (Tx) re-introduced a bill yesterday that would specifically prohibit the president or the Dept. of Health and Human Services from using public health emergencies to enforce gun control regulations.  If passed into law the Right To Keep And Bear Arms Act would further prevent government officials from restricting the production, transfer or sale of firearms or ammunition during disasters or emergencies. 

HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra (a CA hardcore liberal) has asserted that "gun violence" is in fact a "public health crisis".
