IT LOOKS LIKE MAYBE TRUMP KNEW WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT

The Trump camp has been claiming all along that the Fani T. Willis / Georgia case against Trump is a hatchet job engaged in for political purposes.  It seems now that it may also be a fairly nasty tax money rip-off.

It seems that the District Attorney of Fulton County, GA, Ms. Fani T. Willis, hired her (then married to somebody else) boyfriend Nathan Wade to prosecute the case, even though he was primarily a personal injury lawyer with little or not actual felony trial experience.  He has been paid VERY WELL (from tax dollars) to do this.  In between he went on expensive vacations, accompanied by Ms. Willis.  He did, though, file for divorce the day before he was hired.

Also Wade spent at least two full days interviewing people from the Biden administration about the case.  Charging the county $200 per hour plus expenses for this "work."  Wade has, thus far, apparently been paid over $600,000 for his work in the Trump prosecution.

Also Ms. Willis has just been served with papers in the divorce case of Mr. Wade.  She is scheduled to be deposed on January 23rd.

None of this of course has any bearings on the facts (if any) in the actual case against Trump.  It does, however, look bad.
