CAR OWNER +1 CAR THIEF -1

Philadelphia Car Owner Shoots Alleged Thief in Broad Daylight as Police Investigate Fatal Frankford Incident

The ATM where the shooting took place

This little morality play ran itself out in Philadelphia recently.  A 29-year old man, licensed to carry a weapon, stopped at an ATM.  The thief, an as yet unnamed 48-year old man, took one in the head as he drove away and later died of his injuries.

The fine details are not clear but the shooter is lucky he does not live in CA.  You can't shoot people for car theft here, and if you leave your keys in your car you have some issues of your own.

The situation is under review.
