This twisted tale comes, surprisingly enough, from Texas.  Those involved are Amy Lejeune, 45, and Lance Reid, 49, of Houston.  Ms. Lejeune asserts that earlier this year she had only recently met Reid and was planning a romantic weekend getaway with him.  Instead Reid (allegedly) drugged and raped her in his car.

The 911 call came in shortly after midnight on March 15 of this year.  Ms. Lejeune called and stated that she had been drugged and kidnapped and that she had just shot someone.  When the deputies arrived at the winery on East U S 290 in Gillespie County that Lejeune called them from they found the car with a very dead Lance Reid on the front seat.

Subsequent investigation has led the S. O. to question Lejeune's telling of the tale and she was arrested for murder on October 8.  She was released on $100,000 bond one week later and is scheduled for court early in January
