A ‘crazy’ person went on a shooting rampage at the signage company from which he had been fired for his erratic behavior. An employee with a concealed carry license might have been able to take out the shooter, but this happened in liberal Minnesota where they frown on carrying handguns and so they have no option but to run, hide or die.
IT’S NOT ILLEGAL TO BE CRAZY

Andrew Engeldinger,36, was a crazy person who is now a dead crazy person. Unfortunately he took five other people on the road to being dead with him.
Engeldinger was the shooter at the sign company in Minneapolis a few days ago. He was fired after more than ten years on the job, apparently do to his increasingly erratic and confrontational behavior, fueled by paranoia. He murdered the company owner, three other coworkers and a UPS guy that just happened to be there at the time, though he didn’t shoot many others he could have shot. He then killed himself.
Engeldinger’s family had become increasingly worried about his mental health and were involved in a class for the family of mentally ill persons. As far as is known Engeldinger never sought help for mental health problems and was never officially diagnosed as mentally ill. He cut off contact from his family after they enrolled in the class.
This is one of those social problems that doesn’t have a real clear or easy answer. It cost five people their lives in Minneapolis earlier this week, six if you count Engeldinger himself. I do know that all the people at the job could do was call the cops and then run, hide or die.
