Harris County authorities are spending hours trying to get an ex-con to surrender after he shot a deputy and 2 Texas AG agents trying to serve a warrant for violation of a protective order
On Tuesday, a Harris County deputy and 2 Texas AG agents attempted to serve a warrant for violation of a protective order on Daniel Trevino, 25, an ex-con with an extensive arrest record. Trevino opened fire on the officers, wounding all three with non-life threatening injuries. Trevino then opened fire on other officers responding to the scene.
Trevino barricaded himself in a house. Dozens of officers and a SWAT team responded to the scene. At this writing (Tuesday, 7:00 pm), after a standoff of six hours, authorities are still trying to talk the worthless piece of shit into surrendering.
Why are they spending all this manpower and money, not to mention the cost of a trial, on negotiating with a scumbag who tried to murder three officers and therefore does not deserve to live?
After refusing to surrender within a few minutes, the SWAT team should have rushed the house and blown his worthless ass away. That’s the way it would have been done back in my day and that’s the way it should be done nowadays.
UPDATE: After six wasted hours of negotiations, Trevino up and shot himself to death. That may have been the only decent thing the jerkoff has ever done.

I used to be able to buy a loaf of bread for .25 too. Those days are gone.
At least the story has a happy ending.
Probably was just having a bad day.
Hey Bob...you posted this at 10:19. Aren't you supposed to be in the jury room?
