OK,
that is a gross exaggeration. A meteor, about 6 1/2 feet in diameter,
is going to pass very close to the earth. It MIGHT hit us, but it
probably won't. Even if it does a 6 1/2 foot diameter meteor wouldn't
be the end of the world, or even the end of a large city.
A
small one actually passed by the earth about ten days ago BELOW the
orbit of most communication satellites and nobody knew it was there
until it had gone by us.
Of
course depending on who wins the election THAT might be the end of the
world as we know it, but we can all hope that Trump manages to win and
stagger thru another four years of off-the-wall tweets.
