Gavin Newsom, the God-Emperor of
the formerly great state of California, has announced that the state
will be launching satellites to detect methane and identify methane
sources. This will be funded using $100 million from the state's Cap
And Trade program.
The
head of the California Air Resources Board, Liane Randolph, asserts that
methane is an "immediate threat to public health and the environment."
