After five days there is still no info out on the
dramatis personae of this little kerfluffle. On March 17 in Hockney,
Harris County, Texas, Luther Madison II and his wife Angelica, both 39,
got together with another set of parents to talk. The Madison's are the
parents of a teenage boy. The other, unnamed parents have teenage
daughter. The two have been dating. The unidentified couple objected
to the relationship due to their daughter's age and told the Madisons
that. They asked them to assist in keeping the teenage couple apart.
The boy's parents were disinclined to go along with the program. The
situation turned to shit and got physical. Then Mrs. Madison passed a
handgun to Mr. Madison who promptly used it to shoot his antagonist in
the chest and further threatened to shoot the wife.
The
injured guy was airlifted to a hospital. The Madisons were both
arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. They have both
made bond and will appear in court on May 20, unless they decide to beat
feet.

Hockley, Texas has always been a rough area. I knew a cop that got drunk and pulled a gun in a bar to make his point in an argument.
