Donald Trump just finished signing the document that
revokes CA authority to enact EV mandates. There were eleven other
states that jumped onto that ME-TOO train back in the day.

Newsom, the God-Emperor of the formerly great state of California, is
vowing to sue. Since the authority for Trump to do what he did is
specifically permitted by existing federal law it is not real clear what
his basis for suit would be, other than the usual, that being I HATE
TRUMP AND I WANT TO BE PRESIDENT.
Personally
I think that eventually the gasoline powered personal vehicle will die a
natural death due to a combination of technology and market forces. I
don't think it will happen in my lifetime. After that, it will be
somebody else's problem.
