A very interesting attempted crime took place in Marietta, GA on a couple of days ago.
The
woman, a somewhat dumpy sort and not very fast from the video
available, asked to look at a gun. When the clerk handed it to her she
simply turned and semi-sprinted for the door. The manager-owner
happened to be on the floor and body slammed her to the ground and then
flex-cuffed her. He is a cop when he isn't running his gun store.
The
woman, Priscilla Foster, was on probation at the time. I guess she
doesn't realize that EVERYTHING in gun stores is now recorded. She was
not making any obvious attempt to disguise herself.
The
cops showed up and hauled her away. They also towed and impounded her
Mercedes. I don't know what that sort of thing runs in Georgia but in
CA it would cost her at a minimum a few hundred to get it out of impound
and that's assuming the cops don't find anything "interesting" in it
when (if) they do an impound inventory.
