TRUMP'S FRIENDS ERDOGAN AND AL-SHARAA WANT TO DESTROY ISRAEL

Israel's Chikli: Julani-Erdogan axis greatest threat

"No peace agreement with al-Julani," Chikli declared, referring to the former al-Qaida affiliate now leading Syria. "It a mistake to give him credit," he says, citing the massacres of Alawites and Druze. He further says Tucker Carlson "being paid to promote Sharia Law."

Israel's Chikli: Julani-Erdogan axis greatest threat

Amichai Chikli at the Israel Hayom Summit

In a fiery appearance at the Israel Hayom Summit, Israeli Minister of Diaspora Affairs Amichai Chikli delivered a stark warning regarding the region's geopolitical future, explicitly identifying the axis of Turkey and Syria as the "greatest threat" facing the Jewish state, while simultaneously launching a scathing critique of the "Muslim Brotherhood vision" he sees uniting President Erdogan and Syrian interim president, Ahmed Al-Sharaa (Abu Muhammed al-Julani).

While much of the international discourse has focused on stabilization in Syria, Chikli struck a defiant tone, directly contradicting recent suggestions – including those from US President Donald Trump – that Israel should avoid undermining the new Syrian regime. Chikli argued that viewing the current leadership in Syria as a partner is a dangerous fallacy.

"There is no peace agreement with al-Julani," Chikli declared, referring to the former al-Qaida affiliate now leading Syria"There is e no peace agreement with al-Julani," Chikli declared, referring to the former al-Qaida affiliate now leading Syria. "It a mistake to give him credit," he says, citing the massacres of Alawites and Druze. He further says Tucker Carlson "being paid to promote Sharia Law."

Chikli painted a picture of a unified ideological front threatening Israel's borders, linking the leadership in Ankara directly to the jihadists in Damascus. "Julani is Muslim Brotherhood, Erdogan is Muslim Brotherhood," he asserted. He described Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's strategy as a dual threat of "neo-Ottomanism and the caliphate," calling it "the new Iran."

According to the minister, there is "nothing mutual" between Israel and Julani, whom he characterized as a "jihadist who butchered thousands of Druze and Alawites." Consequently, Chikli insisted that Israel must maintain a hard power stance, specifically by keeping forces on Mount Hermon and in the buffer zone to prevent "the next October 7."

"Tucker is promoting Sharia Law"

Shifting his focus to the rise of antisemitism within the United States, Chikli offered a controversial assessment of the American right-wing media landscape. He retracted his previous belief that right-wing antisemitism was limited to "some lunatic in a basement," admitting that over the last two years he has witnessed a "sharp rise in white supremacy, Nazi antisemites, and conspiracies" entering the mainstream.

Chikli singled out former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, making the explosive claim that the pundit is serving foreign interests. "I believe Tucker is being paid to push forward Sharia Law," Chikli said. When pressed on whether he believes Carlson is specifically funded by Qatar, the minister replied, "I think he is being paid by Qatar, yes," though he acknowledged that it is "hard to prove."

He advised that Israel should "stay out of the fight inside MAGA," noting that figures like Carlson and Nick Fuentes "are not conservatism" and that the battle should be waged by "real conservative leaders" within the US
