KOOKFORNIA'S KOOKY 'NO SUPERVISION' PAROLE SYSTEM (2)

Just one more consequence of classifying inmates as ‘non-violent’ in order to reduce the state’s prison population. Cut the costs, release them inmates, the public be damned!

ANOTHER NRP TRIES TO GUN DOWN COPS

Another former guest of the state on Non-revocable parole from a firearms beef (what’s with that anyway) is in the hospital in San Francisco with several extra holes in his body. The cops could shoot better than he could.

The local constabulary were looking for Roselyndo Sicat as he was suspected of blasting away with a Kalashnikov a few days earlier. As they approached a building where he was thought to have been living in the garage they spotted him driving out and attempted a traffic stop. He pulled a pistol and started blasting. They shot back. He was ventilated and crashed into a parked car. The cops recovered a Kalashnikov pistol-grip rifle and the handgun he fired on them with.

There are a couple of good outcomes from this. No good guys were hurt and the state will not be on the hook for the medical expenses since this bozo is an NRP he is on the county’s tab until he can be convicted and sentenced again. He is, unfortunately likely to recover fully from his wounds.
