Just before Christmas in the crime-ridden and gang-infested open sewer that is Stockton that was an attempted robbery and two attempted murders by some very inept criminals.
Six bad guys entered a small neighborhood grocery store. One of them pulled a gun on the clerk. A couple of others tried to life the cash register. They could not do it so they started beating the clerk. As they were leaving one directed the gunman to "Just kill him." The gunman fired several shots at the clerk, all of which missed.
One the way out they saw a potential customer coming in and fired several shots. They missed the customer but damaged his ride. They then fled.
Four of the six are now in custody, including a 14-year old boy. A second 14-year old boy is still being sought, along with the sixth person whose name is not know to the cops.
The willingness of these bozos to shoot people who are not resisting or just happen to be witnesses is very disturbing. With the felony murder rule about to go away in the formerly great state of California things will no doubt get worse before the pendulum swings back.
EDITOR'S NOTE: These are children in need of supervision, not cold-blooded criminals. According to the psycho babble doctors, the brains of 14-year-olds have not fully developed so that they are unaware that their youthful pranks with guns are undesirable. These children belong at home with their loving fathers or whoever happens to be the man in the house at the time who can teach them to shoot straight.
Bob, if you don't understand that, then you're just an old dinosaur.

Forty years ago a friend of mine (cop) had to shoot a 16 year old boy. The kid had opened up on people with a 30-30. My friend was haunted by the shooting for the rest of his life! Kid criminals ruin a lot of lives.
