JARED KUSHNER AXED CHRIS CHRISTIE FOR PROSECUTING HIS FATHER

Chris Christie accused Jared Kushner of a 'hit job' against him as revenge for Christie's prosecution in 2004 of Jared's father, Charles Kushner

The Guardian obtained a copy of former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie’s soon to be released memoir, “Let Me Finish.” In the book, Christie describes how Steve Bannon fired him as head of Trump’s transition team. He demanded to know who was really behind the firing under threat of going to the media and blaming Bannon. Christie writes:

“Steve Bannon … made clear to me that one person and one person only was responsible for the faceless execution that Steve was now attempting to carry out. Jared Kushner, still apparently seething over events that had occurred a decade ago”

Christie quotes Bannon as saying:

“The kid's [Kushner] been taking an ax to your head with the boss [Trump] ever since I got here.”

Christie had prosecuted Jared’s father, billionaire real estate developer Charles Kushner, 12 years earlier, a case in which his father ended up pleading guilty to 16 counts of tax evasion, one count of retaliating against a federal witness, and another count of lying to the Federal Election Commission. A plea bargain called for him to serve two years in a federal detention facility.

So now we know why Chris got fired.

As for Steve Bannon, he got fired at the behest of Jared’s wife, Ivanka Trump.
