BREXIT MOVING AHEAD

by Bob Walsh

The Withdrawal Agreement Bill passed its second reading 358-234. That means the UK will exit (more or less) from the EU on January 31, 2020. The bill acknowledges there will be a transition period during which the bumps will be smoothed out and the process should be totally completed not later than December 31, 2020.

At that time the subjects of the UK will again be the masters of their own destiny and they will no longer have unelected bureaucrats in Belgium telling them how many chocolate chips must be in a chocolate chip cookie or what the "correct" fat concent of a banger is.

Free at last, free at last.
