Dennis Muilenburg used to be the CEO of Boeing. Two days ago. He is now unemployed.
The board was not impressed with the huge turd that the newest version of the 737 has turned into. It is so bad that they have stopped production of the plane and are not really expecting to get it accepted by the FAA until June at the earliest. You can count on the software getting an EXTREMELY close scrutiny.
On top of that was the Starliner being unable to link up with the space station a couple of days ago. The basic flaw was somebody didn't set a clock right in the software.
Boeing stock went up yesterday on the news. The stock of many of their suppliers is tanking.
My opinion, for what my opinion may be worth to you, is that Boeing turned to crap when they turned their business over from engineers to marketing and accounting people.
EDITOR'S NOTE: Boeing had to stop production because the parking lot is completely full of undelivered planes.

Spirit Aero Systems, the 737 fuselage builder is a company in Wichita, Kansas. There are a shit load (90) of huge aluminum tubes in their lot. They employ 13000 people. People in Wichita are nervous. Lawsuits about the 737 Max are being filed daily because airlines are losing money through cancelled flights. All of this is happening because Big Wigs at Boeing decided to proceed with a known design flaw which resulted in planes crashing and people being killed. They need to start over from scratch with a new 737 and scrap the flawed design planes. I predict that Boeing will survive but it's worth will diminish along with it's reputation.
Oh. I forgot the reason Boeings resupply rocket to the space station didn't make it is because they forgot to set an onboard clock. You can't make shit like this up.
A talking head on the magic box yesterday said that Boeing has a tad over 8,000 suppliers for the 737 Max and that a fair number of them have Boeing as their only customer. Ho Ho Ho.
