I admit it. I like AGT. That being said, sometimes Simon Cowell can be a bit of a dick. However, he did develop the show and is the executive producer.

That being said, there are some things you can not get away with these days. There is a major investigation of a "toxic culture" generated allegedly by Simon Cowell within the show. These include racial insensitivity, unreasonable and excessive critique of the female cast member, and (horror of horrors) SMOKING inside the building in violation of law. (I guess he is a serious nicotine fiend.)

Both of last seasons female judges, one white and one black, are history. Both Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough had a one year option that was not picked up in either case. (There is a difference between being fired and being not hired.)

There are three production companies involved in the show. They have hired lawyers. Cowell, who is currently in the UK working on another project, has also hired a lawyer. It looks like, at least at some level, the complaints are being taken seriously.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Simon is a racist. Simon is a racist because he ordered Gabrielle Union to change her hair style so it would not look black. Of course, she didn't complain about it until she got fired.
