Antonio
Dimascio, 56, lives in the quaint town of Cambridge in the U. K. He
took ill a couple of years ago and called for the local ambulance
service to respond to his home. They did. They noted he had "indecent
images" of young girls openly displayed on the interior walls of his
home.
They hauled him to
the hospital, and called the cops. The cops searched his home. They
determined that nine of the images were in fact indecent and another 57,
though not illegal, were of a highly suggestive sexual nature. He
asserted that he did not realize that this was a criminal offense and
maintained that he believed he did nothing inappropriate.
He
did, however, admit to a charge of "making an indecent photograph of a
child." He got an 18 month community order (probation) and a five year
duration Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
