She broke the law — now she’s breaking the internet

Nyla Murrell-French, a 22-year-old inmate serving a seven-year prison sentence at an adult detention center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, for stabbing a woman in the neck during a 2018 gas station altercation, is being crowned the internet’s latest #PrisonBae pinup.

“Have you guys seen prison bae,” tweeted a titillated Twitter user alongside Murrell-French’s mug shot Monday.

“Guys are about to risk it all to save her from jail,” he added, noting the thousands of comments men have left under the pretty prisoner’s pics, promising to send her money and to bust her out of the big house.

Murrell-French soared to social media sweetheart superstardom when a new photo was shared to her Facebook page over the weekend.

In the post, which has garnered more than 10,000 likes and is captioned “Merry Christmas from the Pretty Gangsta,” the captivating convict is sitting cross-legged in prison-issued gray sweats and cutting a cute smirk.

And Murrell-French’s wannabe post-prison paramours have since been fawning over her with digital marriage proposals and vows to lavish her with monetary gifts.

“Baddie, let me know when you get out,” one hopeful inamorato wrote on Facebook, emphasizing his affections for Murrell-French with a row of engagement ring emojis and heart-eyed smiley faces.

“What’s [your] bond?” commented another. “W2s [are going to] go out and I’ve been saving for a crib but I’ll spend it to get you out.”

“Whatever she did she’s forgiven…free her fine ass right now,” demanded another fan of the darling detainee.

Murrell-French’s mesmerizing mania is being compared to that of the original “Hot Felon” Jeremy Meeks, 37, a jailbird-turned-supermodel who skyrocketed to pop-culture prominence when his mouthwatering mug shot went viral in 2014.

However, a handful of online oglers reined in their love for Murrell-French after learning the details of her heinous crime.

“I was like [heart-eye emoji] until I found out what you went to jail for. Smdh,” a disenchanted detractor wrote, citing Murrell-French’s first-degree assault charge. “You can’t just go around stabbing someone and expect to be free or to not do time in prison,” another commenter penned, in part.

In April 2019, then 19-year-old Murrell-French was sentenced to seven years in prison for stabbing another teenage girl in the neck during a fight at a St. Paul gas station in June 2018, according to CBS affiliate WCCO. The victim was hospitalized for a collapsed lung and injuries to her jugular.

During her sentencing, Murrell-French, who had amassed a whopping nine theft charges shortly after the stabbing, reportedly cried and apologized for what she said was a mistake.

But in the wake of her trending popularity, a less-weepy Murrell-French took to Facebook thanking her newfound fan base for their kind remarks.

“Thanks for the support,” she wrote in her comments along with her JPay prison money-wiring information.
