The
people who research such things asserts that a tree ring survey (which
is hard science mostly and not interpretive, mostly) says that the
formerly great state of California is now in a drought such has not been
seen in 1,200 years.
I don't know if it is true or not, but I do know it is the middle of February and I started watering my lawn last week.
