Those
of you who follow such things may remember that back when dinosaurs
still roamed the earth (2014) a 79-year old retired cop, Curtis Reeves,
was charged with second degree murder in the shooting death of Chad
Oulson in a movie theater. They had been watching LONE SURVIVOR and
Oulson was being a dick. Oulson was texting during the movie previews,
which is rude (some people actually watch the damn things). When the
retired Tampa P D Captain asked Oulson to knock it off Oulson threw his
cell phone at Reeves, hitting him in the face, and turned, giving
indication that he may be planning to climb over the seat and attack
Reeves. Reeves terminally rehabilitated Oulson.
The jury believed Reeves. Or maybe they just didn't like assholes. In any event they just came in with a NOT GUILTY verdict.

Both are possible, Bob. The jury believed Reeves AND they just don't like assholes.
