Marjorie Taylor Greene in a soup: GOP Rep confuses Nazi police Gestapo with Gazpacho Marjorie Taylor Greene said 'Nancy Pelosi's Gazpacho police' in a now-viral video

Embattled Republican Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene was trolled online after her major Gazpacho gaffe, as she appeared to have been confused between the notorious Nazi police force and a harmless cold tomato soup. In a now-viral video, MTG complained about Nancy Pelosi's police allegedly "spying" on members of Congress. However, she ended up cribbing about "Nancy Pelosi's gazpacho police", in a clear mix-up between Gestapo and Gazpacho.

Greene, who was permanently banned from Twitter last year for propagating conspiracy theories, is no stranger to gaffes. She had previously confused the US territory of Guam in Micronesia as a foreign country, prompting the Guam governor to offer her a history book. In her latest video, she also referred to the jail in Washington, DC as 'DC gulag', drawing a comparison with the infamous Soviet prison system. However, it was her gazpacho gaffe that left Twitter in splits, as journalist Matt Fuller noted, "The Gazpacho Police: The most refreshing, but filling law enforcement agency.”

Gazpacho (or Gaspacho) happens to be a cold soup prepared from blended vegetables like tomato and cucumber. It is widely popular in Spain and Portugal as a summer dish and is now consumed around the world.

While speaking on Real America, Marjorie Taylor Greene was slamming the Jan 6 committee prosecuting Trump allies. She particularly lashed out at 'Nancy Pelosi's Gazpacho police', accusing them of spying on GOP lawmakers and American citizens. Soon after the video went viral, editorial cartoonist Pat Bagley tweeted, "That Marjorie Taylor Greene misnames Hitler’s Gestapo the “Gazpacho Police” will hurt her not at all with her constituents. That should scare you as much as it does me Also, this means her congressional staff is just as stupid and incompetent as she is to let this out.

Journalist John Nichols joked, "U.S. @RepMTG is very concerned about “Nancy Pelosi’s Gazpacho Police,” who are not to be confused with Jerry Seinfield’s “Soup Nazis.”

"Nancy Pelosi's Gazpacho Police" sounds like the greatest ska-punk band of all time," actor Dan Franko tweeted.

Mueller Report executive producer Cheri Jacobus tweeted, "I worked on Capitol Hill for many years, and can't imagine ever letting a Member of Congress do a taped interview or video where they would confuse "gestapo" and "gazpacho". @RepMTG's staff hates her."

Ring of Fire host Farron Cousins chimed in, "Antifa can’t run around with cans of soup now that the gazpacho police are on the streets."

Greene is yet to issue any clarification over her hilarious mix-up as liberal Twitter took this opportunity to remind everyone how MTG spreads conspiracy theories and nurtures unco
