Madison Robertson, 16, (left)  had cannabis in her system when she failed to yield to an oncoming truck on March 22, killing her and her five schoolfriends who rode along, The National Transportation Safety Board reported.

Fellow Tishomingo School District students Gracie Machado, 15, Brooklyn Triplett, 15, Austin Holt, 15, Addison Gratz, 17, and Memory Wilson, 17, (right) were in the car when Robertson passed a stop sign, causing a tractor-trailer to slam into them, killing the teens and destroying the car (left inset).

The agency added that Robertson only had an intermediate driver's license, meaning she needed a driver 21 or older to be with her when driving with more than other person in the car.

'Post-crash toxicology reports indicated that the car driver was negative for alcohol and positive for cannabis, and the driver of the 18-wheeler was negative for alcohol and other drugs,' NTSB officials said.
