(42 kilograms) of illicit fentanyl
Gavin Newsom announced over the weekend that he is
"partnering" with the CHP, the National Guard, the SFPD and the SF
District Attorney's Office to remove the scourge of Fentanyl from the
fair streets of San Francisco. He emphasized that he is NOT moving on
the poor, abused and misunderstood drug USERS but is in fact going after
the evil, nasty and horrible drug TRAFFICERS.
I
am unsure what he expects the National Guard to be able to do. In
addition the CHP and the SFPD will be wasting their time if the SFDA
won't actually PROSECUTE criminals and if the judges won't send them to
prison, which is hard because of the prisons that have been shutting
down.
The accompanying
press will, however, be able to make Gavin and his road-puppies feel
good about themselves and in the long run THAT is what is important.
That and fooling enough voters into buying into the bullshit and voting
for him.
