Geoffrey Rank Walker, 30, had
been on the run from the cops as a kidnapping suspect in Dekalb County
for several days. It started as a family violence issue in Walmart.
Deputies responded and attempted to pull him over. He took off, rammed a
police car and forced another car off I-75, then ran.
The cops sent a K-9, Athos, after him. Walker shot the dog. The dog is likely to survive.
One
day later the cops found Walker holed-up at a hotel. He ran over the
river and thru the woods to a county sanitation facility near Leroy
Scott Drive. Hot shot at the cops. He missed. They shot back. They
didn't. The dog shooter is now deader than dog shit. Too bad, so sad.
(Not).
