"HIGH CAPACITY" MAGAZINE BAN OVERTURNED...AGAIN

By Bob Walsh

Washington, like many other warm and fuzzy blue states, has a ban on possession of standard capacity (called high capacity) magazines by private citizens within the state.  If it holds more than 10 rounds it is evil and you can't have it.

Cowlitz County Superior Court Judge Gary Bashor has just ruled that the law, passed in 2022, violates both the state and federal constitutions.

His ruling was immediately put on hold by an appeal to the state supreme court.

Bullshit like this will continue until SCOTUS steps hard on state and local courts that keep throwing in variations of this every time they get the chance.  And then the voters should throw out the assholes who are passing these laws, but they won't.
