SF TO SUE OAKLAND OVER AIRPORT NAME

Regular readers will remember that I recently wrote about the Oakland Airport Authority moving to change the name of the Oakland International Airport to the San Francisco Bay Oakland International Airport.

San Francisco is suing, over trademark infringement.  The suit was filed on Thursday in federal court.

Personally I think they should change the name to the  MOS EISLEY SPACEPORT.  It would carry the feel for the location nicely I think.  An alternate would be THE PRETTY DECENT AIRPORT LOCATED IN AN OPEN SEWER.  

I am guessing that the lawsuit will not fly and that Oakland will not adopt either of my suggestions.  But I could be wrong.
