GET READY FOR A LYNCHING BY 'THE CAT LADIES, PETA, AND THE GENERAL SAN FRANCISCO LOONIE CONTINGENT'

NEW PROBLEM FOR SAN FRANCISCO CRIME LAB, CATS

The San Francisco P D Crime Lab has problems. They have already had to punt over 500 drug cases because a lab tech is suspected of using the confiscated drugs for her own recreational use. Over 1,000 more cases are at risk of being lost.

Their new problem is cats.

Their non-current case storage is a large old hanger at the former Hunters Point Naval Shipyard. A large population of feral cats has moved in, using it as a lunch room and latrine to the detriment of some of the evidence stored there.

The new Assistant Chief, Jeff Godown, is in charge of the crime lab. He has ordered that the cats have got to go. How he will do it without the cat ladies, PETA and general S F loonie contingent attempting to have him lynched is another matter.

Maybe they could get some vicious pit bulls and house them in the building. (Just kidding.)
