JUST A NORMAL WEEKEND NIGHT AT THE CANTINA

When the cops arrived, the joint was nearly empty. Hmmm, could it be that the cantina had been full of illegals? And these kind of brawls are not all that uncommon – it’s just that no one usually calls for the cops.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD (KTLA) -- Over 80 people were involved in a bar fight that left at least two people injured, police say.

Police received a call early Saturday morning of several fights erupting at Hacienda Corona on Victory Boulevard in North Hollywood. According to Sgt. Morrison of LAPD's North Hollywood Station, a person was hit over the head with a beer bottle and when the security guard tried to intervene several other fights broke out.

When police arrived they found no evidence of a shooting and the club, which had about 200 in attendance, was already emptied with beer bottles smashed on the floor.

At least one person was arrested for an assault with a deadly weapon. One person was injured and was self-transported in unknown condition.

Police are still investigating the motive of the massive brawl.
