A Delano man died about a week ago, killed by a fighting cock.
Jose Louis Ochoa, 35, was attending an illegal cock fight when he was stabbed in the leg by a fighting rooster that had knives attached to its legs. He died a few hours after in a local hospital. It was probably not a deliberate attack by the rooster, they are not all that bright, but then again you know what they say about Karma.
