MEXICAN GOVERNMENT CONDEMNS TEXAS FOR EXECUTING ITS NATIONALS

Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign affairs accuses Texas of ignoring rulings of the International Criminal Court

In response to Wednesday’s execution in Texas of Ramiro Hernandez-Llanas, the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs released the following statement:

“This is the fourth case of a Mexican being executed in clear violation of the judgment of the International Court of Justice. The Government of Mexico expresses its most vigorous protest at the failure to comply.”

Llamas was one of around 50 Mexican citizens awaiting execution in the U.S. when in 2004 the International Court of Justice in The Hague, Netherlands ruled that, at the time of their arrest, they were not advised of their right to obtain the assistance of the Mexican consulate.

Let’s take a look at the dear departed Senior Llamas. He entered the U.S. illegally after escaping from a Mexican prison where he had been serving a 25-year sentence for a 1989 murder. In 1997, he murdered Glen Lich by repeatedly bashing him in the head with a rebar. Lich, a Baylor University history professor, had hired the scumbag 10 days earlier to do some renovations at his ranch in Kerrville. Llamas also attacked Lich’s wife with a knife, but she survived to testify against him. He has also been linked to the rape of a 15-year-old girl and to a stabbing. While awaiting trial for the Lich murder, he slashed another jail inmate’s face with a razor blade.

Llamas was executed Wednesday evening for the murder of Professor Lich. After being injected with a dose of pentobarbital, he snored a couple of times, then went to sleep like a baby. He was the sixth murderer put to death by the State of Texas this year.

It is almost laughable that Mexico would be concerned with a scumbag of such ‘impeccable’ credentials. To Mexico and to the International Criminal Court, I say: Fuck off and keep your damn noses out of our criminal justice affairs!

Mexico should keep their criminals at home if they want to protect them.

There are also various nations across the world who say; "To the U.S. fuck off and keep your damn noses out of other nations affairs!"
