The White House announced today that the God-King, Barack I, will NOT be
attending the funeral of Justice Scalia.
No reason was given, but it is widely believed that it would interfere with a round
of golf and a meeting with Al Sharpton.
I made up the second paragraph. The first paragraph is unfortunately completely
true. (And the second paragraph could very well be true.)
EDITOR'S NOTE: Viewing Justice Scalia lying in repose, which Barack and Michelle plan to do, is not the same as attending the funeral.
Failure by the President to attend Scalia’s funeral is a shameful snub. I kind of think Obama is still pissed off over the 5-4 Heller decision which was written by Scalia and which affirmed that the Second Amendment protects an individual's right to possess a firearm.
Ted Cruz said, “We’ve got 11 more months of watching damage to this country from a lawless and faithless president, who is eager to travel to Cuba but unwilling even to show up at the funeral of Justice Scalia.”
With criticism like that, and for political expediency, Obama might yet change his mind and attend the funeral
