JC PENNY AND MACY'S TURNING INTO THRIFT STORES

by Bob Walsh

On the heels of mediocre earning reports and a general difficult time for brick-and-mortar retailers both JC Penny and Macy's have just announced that they are entering the resale market.

I actually bought a hat from Macy's. About five years ago. And I regularly buy socks and underwear from JCP.

Last time I checked I think JCP stock was going for about 55 cents a share. If it wasn't for the Ellen show I don't think they would make it at all. Damn shame. That being said, nothing lasts forever.
