Amazon driver loses job after woman in skimpy clothes seen exiting van in viral video

An Amazon delivery driver was fired after a TikTok video went viral showing a woman dressed in skimpy clothes getting out the backdoor of his truck. According to reports, the video was shot in a Florida neighborhood that showed the unidentified blond woman in a body-hugging black dress slipping out of the truck as the driver held the door open for her.

Though it’s not clear what exactly the woman was doing inside the truck, Amazon did not like the driver’s conduct. The 11-second clip ended with the woman pulling a phone out of her dress while walking away. A representative for the multinational technology company told TMZ, “This does not reflect the high standards we have for our Delivery Service Partners and their drivers. Allowing unauthorized passengers to enter delivery vehicles is a violation of Amazon policy, and the driver is no longer delivering packages to Amazon customers.”

The footage of the incident was first uploaded on TikTok on October 24 by @patrickhook01, which garnered more than 11 million views. It also attracted a lot of comments as a user said, “He was just showing her his package.” The second one wrote, “She’s got that Prime Plus membership.” “Package will be delivered in 9 months, thank you,” the third user quipped and the fourth one added: “This is Amazon’s new backdoor service.”

The now-viral video also made its way to Twitter, where a number of people express their thoughts. A person tweeted, “Now we know what the pm prime stands for.” Another one wrote, “She must be a prime member with free express  delivery to her back door.” The third user joked, “I’m more impressed with the black bird flying inside the van.”

A tweet read, “Waiting for Amazon to ship her shoes. Lol. A guy in NYC recently arrested for operating BnBs out of VANS in the city. Parked near Starbucks+restaurants. Told “clients” to use their bathrooms! Creepy but it really happens.” Another tweet stated, “Hey, he was really working the ‘customer obsessed’ experience Amazon strives for. He should have gotten a raise.

“When it comes to work stay PROFESSIONAL! If I’m a doctor I can’t be doing my patient in the other room,” someone remarked. When a user commented, “Reminds me of the Beatles song,” another one responded, “Lol... what song,  I do love the Beatles but rarely listen to them, I just kept trying to come up with some kinda Amazon women on the moon reference... but then I was like fuck it.”

Some even supported the driver and the woman. A user said, “I think we can hear from that guy in the future if he gets legal assistance. Because. The images don't show all the details. Everyone is *assuming* or *inferring* what they were doing based on the images. There's zero *certainty*.” Another user tweeted, “Aww come on...if the packages are being delivered, who cares what goes on in between? Let 'em have their fun.” A person wrote, “Why are they shaming the girl when he is the one ‘working’! His photo should be there, not hers!” The second one added: “Her lawyer(s) could/would make up easy reasons to sue Amazon, after all, this is America.”
